To the right is an excerpt from a video produced by Melton Young People to promote Mental Health services in the area. Marcus accessed counselling through Space4U, and decided to share his personal story to inspire others to reach out for help in times of need. The video was supported and produced by the community organisation Lost For Words, which is a centre point for signposting Young People and their families toward appropriate areas of support in the area, as well as offering additional information. |

TESTIMONIALS AND PERSONAL STORIES |
"It is almost five years since the sudden death of my father. I began sessions with Laura not long after and remained with her until I felt strong enough to continue this journey on my own. Laura has taken my hand and guided me through the most terrifying and dark journey of my life. Down an unrecognisable path of utter devastation and fear......" |
'Being able to offer a child/young person the opportunity to play out or talk in confidence separate from school and family life enables them to explore and express their emotions in a safe place, as well as learning ways to tackle issues which can impact on their everyday life; understand feelings of anger and anxiety and learn ways to reduce angry outbursts; all of which will support continuing life skills for independent adulthood.'

I had had a quite unbelievable year in 2012 with many things happening at once to a point where my head was full of stuff to the extent I couldn't think. It had brought me to a difficult place that ultimately I knew would only be sorted out with help....."
